Thank you for taking the time to look through my website and giving me the opportunity to help you design and create a unique cake for your special day!

I’ve been baking and decorating cakes for 15 years now. My mother decorated cakes, so I grew up with lots of sweetness. I guess I thought everyone’s mom decorated really cool cakes like mine!

I was pretty sure I didn’t want to continue the tradition, so I decided to try teaching instead. I studied French, went to France, and discovered pastries! While I completed my masters in teaching, and taught for a few years, I decided to try decorating on the side. I found it to be an artistic outlet, and I also enjoyed the happiness it brought when I presented my delicious confections. I became so busy, that I decided to put off teaching for a while and focus my attention on my craft.

I believe what makes my cakes stand out is ingredients and freshness. I use real sweetcream butter and milk in my frosting, unlike most grocery store cakes. I believe that taste should not be compromised when creating such an important wedding memory.

My husband, Dwight, and children, Erica, Amanda, Lindsay, Derek, and Lucas, have always been wonderfully supportive. Derek and Lucas have become quite the cookie makers!
